About The Position

We’re hiring a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth, expand market presence, and build strategic partnerships within the food industry. This role combines sales strategy, relationship management, and market expansion to support revenue growth and long-term business development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of business development, sales, or commercial experience in the food industry or similar sectors (CPG, food manufacturing, ingredients, distribution, or hospitality supply)
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and closing deals
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic growth plans
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels
  • Develop and execute sales and growth strategies to expand market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key industry partners
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with clients and partners
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, supply chain, marketing) to support customer needs
  • Track sales performance, pipeline activity, and revenue forecasts
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
