The Opportunity We’re looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Representative to join the sales team. This role is focused on capturing new clients across the SLED (State, Local, Education), Healthcare, Municipal, and Hospitality markets. You’ll play a key role in expanding our client’s presence in Southern California by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and closing business that drives long-term growth.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of new business development/hunting in technology, security, AV, or related industries
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales and ability to navigate complex organizations
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter who thrives in a growth-oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel locally to client sites and industry events as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling into public sector, healthcare, municipal, or hospitality markets (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Hunt for new business opportunities and generate new client relationships across SLED, healthcare, municipal, and hospitality sectors
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that address customer needs
  • Represent our client at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build brand awareness and uncover new opportunities
  • Negotiate contracts and drive deals through the full sales cycle from prospect to close
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to strategic growth planning
