About The Position

Agilix Solutions is seeking a Services and Solutions Business Development Lead. This role is responsible for driving profitable growth across the Services and Solutions portfolio—including projects, contracts, lifecycle services, and advanced technology solutions. This role blends strategic business development, portfolio ownership, and hands‑on commercial execution to expand services and solutions penetration with existing customers while generating new logo opportunities. This role will report to the Vice President of Digital Transformation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in automation, industrial services, or technology solutions commercial roles.
  • Proven track record of selling high‑level IT or technology solutions, including strategic account management and consultative sales.
  • Understanding of industrial and automation service and solutions models, technology solutions, and value‑based selling at the executive level.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships, lead cross‑functional collaboration, and translate customer needs into actionable strategies that grow revenue and enhance customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and grow a robust sales pipeline; execute a strategic sales plan to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Prospect for new customers, identify high‑potential accounts, and expand services and solutions footprint within existing accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers at all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
  • Lead opportunity identification and qualification across service types (contractual, project, transactional) to drive lifecycle services adoption.
  • Develop ROI‑driven proposals and business justification for customer initiatives involving automation, networking, communications, datacenter, and security solutions.
  • Own the strategy, planning, and performance of the Services & Solutions portfolio in alignment with organizational goals and supplier growth objectives.
  • Create and execute annual commercial plans, including target account strategies, marketing alignment, and sales competency initiatives.
  • Leverage data and market intelligence to guide priorities, identify market‑making opportunities, and position offerings competitively.
  • Manage disciplined forecasting processes and ensure opportunity funnel health, accuracy, and transparency.
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—sales specialists, engineering, marketing, customer success, and technical services—to develop and deliver compelling customer solutions.
  • Support third-party complementary service offerings and ensure alignment with the broader ecosystem.
  • Communicate clearly, influence stakeholders, and drive coordinated execution to achieve business growth.
