About The Position

The Business Development internship with the Client Advisory/Business Development team serves a vital role at TIFF and contributes to TIFF’s overall growth and client retention. This role will support the team with creating proposals and other content to meet the needs of prospects and clients. The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Knowledge Gathering Develop a basic understanding of our organization, clients, and target market Gain knowledge of the business development process Participate in team meetings to collaborate on opportunities Proposal Creation Organize and support proposal development meetings Collaborate to create, proof, and prepare proposals Update library resource materials and information for RFP responses General Business Development Support Conduct research around client and prospect organizations (e.g., focus, strategicinitiatives) and portfolios to inform proposal development Craft profiles on prospects to help educate the pitch team Assist with production of client and prospect materials Support broader marketing and business development campaigns and events Help maintain CRM to facilitate business development reporting Complete clerical and administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Pursuit of related degree e.g., Marketing, Business Management, Communications or Business Administration (other degrees accepted)
  • Familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Ability and willingness to work with staff at all levels within the organization
  • Strong attention to detail, thoughtful and analytical mindset
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
