About The Position

The Business Development internship offers hands-on experience across all areas of the sales process, supporting the efforts to grow Stake Center's client base. Interns will gain exposure to sales strategies, client engagement, and business operations, playing a vital role in helping Stake Center win new business opportunities. This role is ideal for individuals eager to develop a foundational understanding of business development within a dynamic team environment.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and supporting the sales process, including lead tracking and client communications
  • Provide support for Salesforce.com, including data entry and report generation
  • Contribute to social media efforts by helping to create and schedule content that promotes Stake Center's brand and services
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and execute promotional strategies
  • Learn basic sales functions and actively provide support to the business development team
