Reporting to the Director of Development, the Business Development Intern performs a wide range of key functions necessary to the grant discovery, development and reporting process for private and public funding. Responsibilities include administrative support activities, conducting research, and writing components of grant proposals. This individual will support the project management of the combined public and private portfolio of 100+ annual proposal submissions and 50+ annual report submissions. This is a part-time, paid internship (approx. 16 hours per week, $18/hour). The internship requires well-developed written and verbal communications skills to exchange technical and complex information as well as best in class organization and strategic thinking. Work results impact the accuracy, reliability, and acceptability of data used in the organization's grant seeking efforts. Work involves managing multiple priorities, making connections for efficiencies, planning and organizing to meet established deadlines.
