The firm is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to support the execution of marketing and business development initiatives for the firm’s corporate practice. This position’s core function is to provide essential tactical support to the fast-paced team. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is interested in developing a career in law firm business development and gaining exposure to the work of many of the world's most influential companies. This role reports to the Senior Business Development Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a degree in marketing, business or related field a plus.
  • 1+ year of experience in related field (equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered)
  • Strong customer service ethic
  • Exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Extremely detail-oriented, with superior proofreading and fact checking skills
  • Efficient, highly organized and ability to stay productive under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Aptitude for learning new software, systems, databases, and procedures quickly
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Support and drive marketing and business development initiatives for the corporate practice
  • Participate in the successful production and execution of client events, speaking engagements, and sponsorships, including analyzing attendee lists, preparing mailing lists, creating tailored materials, supporting attorney follow-up, and tracking outcomes and activities in the CRM system
  • Prepare compelling marketing and business development collateral, including basic and tailored pitch materials
  • Conduct in-depth research on markets, technologies, companies, and individuals for the industry group attorneys
  • Support the Business Development team’s pitch tracking and reporting activities
  • Collaborate with the firmwide business development team to support and drive industry, practice, and technology innovation initiatives
