Your Role This position is designed to assist the Business Development team in the execution of tactical and strategic initiatives to support on-going business growth.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree; emphasis in Marketing or a related discipline is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years professional experience in marketing and/or sales operations support
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Positive attitude, versatility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint & MS Suite
  • Unquestioned commitment to integrity in personal and professional activities
  • Highly motivated with ability to function well in a fast-paced team environment with continued growth and development
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to interact with both internal and external clients and project a professional, friendly and capable image in action and appearance
  • Ability to manage heavy workloads and projects, many on a time sensitive basis, as well as interacting with a tight-knit team of firm professionals
  • Commitment to excellence and strong attention to detail with an ability to deliver accurate documentation and task completion

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining Business Development calendars
  • Collect and organize lists; draft and edit documents; report generation and delivery
  • Coordinate regular (weekly or monthly) reporting for Business Development Officers on performance against target as well as activity reports
  • Assist with execution on marketing events (e.g. event planning, invitation tracking)
  • Help to organize and execute on marketing plan, including scheduling and working on details for webinars or physical seminars, etc.
  • Assist with Marketing brand development strategy (including brand standards, budgeting, analysis, research, etc.)
  • Initiate communication with potential acquisition candidates
  • Develop, design & evaluate sales collateral; utilize and customize firm collateral as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct research using various sources (LinkedIn), interpret data and provide analysis
  • Coordinate client “touch points” which reinforce the ongoing relationship including birthdays, thank you notes, greeting cards, flowers/ gifts
  • Differentiate Brighton Jones from the competition and promote the Brighton Jones value proposition including the comprehensive balance sheet approach
  • Assist in other special projects, as needed
