About The Position

Business Development Coach will support all our franchise owners (advisors) within a respective regional area, assist them with developing their knowledge of Cruise Planners available programs and marketing and technology tools, as well as to provide ongoing training and guidance to setup, develop and maintain a successful business. Requirements

  • Must be able to manage territory, build relationships within region and motivate others to achieve sales goals
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, coupled with problem-solving / customer service and listening skills
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to multi-task in a team environment
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to conduct ongoing webinars and training both virtual and in person
  • Knowledge of social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Twitter) and internet savvy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Analytical skills necessary for interpreting data and setting goals relevant to the data.
  • 2-5 years of Travel Industry and Sales & Marketing experience required
  • Ability to attend occasional CP events as needed, outside of Home Office
  • Occasional travel as needed
  • Occasionally work outside normal business hours and regular schedule

Responsibilities

  • Coach respective franchise owners (advisors) on new tools and strategies while focusing on engagement and revenue growth and opportunities.
  • Conduct ongoing business reviews, communicate sales trends, new business initiatives, promotional offers, and other information that will assist in growing the business.
  • Provide ongoing webinar series aimed at training advisors on proprietary tools and programs available to help build their business.
  • Assist with updating training documents and internal website material to ensure the accuracy of the content.
  • Based on franchise business needs, recommend a marketing plan that will help their business grow and align with Cruise Planners Home Office goals and strategies. Discuss marketing opportunities available.
  • Ongoing assessment of assigned Region by analyzing existing dashboards, various reports, sales numbers, vendors mix and other
  • Work closely with marketing team and utilize existing proprietary tools to ensure franchisee is aware of upcoming marketing opportunities including direct mail pieces, vendor tool kits and exclusive offers.
  • Assist advisors in developing group business or building upon the advisor’s client data base to generate or increase revenue opportunities.
  • Manage Regional FB Pages and keep franchise owners engaged and informed of supplier updates, best practices, new promotions, etc.
  • Answer incoming calls and email inquiries, providing assistance as needed.
