About The Position

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic professional to join our Information Technology company as a Business Development Associate. This is a part-time contract position (16-20 hours/week) running through December 31, 2026, with the opportunity to continue based on performance and mutual interest. Compensation $20/hour

Requirements

• Strong interest in business development, technology, and AI applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Experience with or strong interest in AI tools and AI project work
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Proficiency with standard business software (Microsoft Office)
• Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly

Nice To Haves

• Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (currently pursuing or completed)
• Previous experience in business development, sales support, or business analysis
• Familiarity with CRM systems or business development platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• College students (Juniors or Sophomores preferred; must NOT be graduating in 2026)
• Professionals seeking flexible part-time work
• Former business analysts, sales professionals, or similar roles looking to re-enter the workforce
• Anyone with relevant skills and enthusiasm for the role

Responsibilities

• Support lead generation initiatives and business development activities
• Conduct RFP (Request for Proposal) search, tracking, and coordination
• Leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance workflow efficiency and support AI-related projects
• Assist with market research and competitive analysis
• Maintain and update business development databases and tracking systems
• Collaborate with team members on strategic initiatives
• Work independently on assigned projects with minimal supervision
