Position Summary: The Business Development Associate supports prospect outreach, CRM data maintenance, reporting, proposal coordination, and onboarding support. This role partners closely with Business Development Advisors to advance opportunities and promote positive client experiences.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of sales support, financial services, client services experience or a similar role supporting business development or relationship management function
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • CRM proficiency
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Support sales pipeline activities by conducting outreach and follow-up with active prospects to advance opportunities and maintain engagement.
  • Assist with lead and pipeline management, including maintaining accurate CRM (e.g., Salesforce) records, tracking activity, and supporting reporting.
  • Support client onboarding and early account setup by coordinating documentation, internal handoffs, and readiness for client go-live.
  • Prepare and organize business development materials, including proposals, pricing support materials, presentations, and client-facing documentation.
  • Support pricing exception coordination and contribute to pricing and margin review processes as needed.
  • Participate in and support prospect meetings and events, and assist with sharing relevant industry and marketing content (including digital channels) to strengthen engagement.
  • Conduct basic market and competitor research to support targeting, positioning, and business development planning.
  • Contribute to process improvements and internal projects that enhance the effectiveness of business development and onboarding workflows.
