About The Position

As a Business Development Associate at PECO Pallet, you will play a pivotal role in our growth and success. Your responsibilities encompass two critical aspects of our business: managing existing customer relationships and driving new sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4 years of sales or other relevant experience
  • Relationship or account management
  • New Business or expansion accountability
  • Effective selling & negotiation skills
  • Effective customer relationship management skills
  • Effective written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Supply Chain, Logistics and/or CPG industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage Existing Customer Portfolio:
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with a large portfolio of existing small-volume renters.
  • Collaborate with Service to drive customer retention through excellent service and support.
  • Identify and cultivate expansion opportunities within the customer base.
  • Maintain/Improve the Return on Investment Capital (ROIC) through price increases and modernization of customer contracts.
  • Respond to Inbound Sales Inquiries:
  • Efficiently handle inbound sales inquiries via phone and email.
  • Provide timely and professional responses to customer queries.
  • Qualify Inbound Leads:
  • Assess the potential of inbound leads and qualify, and categorize them appropriately.
  • Manage qualified small renter opportunities independently.
  • Distribute qualified leads for larger opportunities to Sales Directors for further follow-up.
  • Generate New Sales Leads:
  • Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking.
  • Take ownership of the sales process from initial qualification to closure for small renters.
  • Transition larger opportunities to Sales Directors for more complex sales.
  • CRM Management:
  • Utilize CRM tools, such as Microsoft Dynamics, to maintain accurate and up-to-date
