About The Position

Hometown Urgent Care & Occupational Health proudly serves Ohio communities with 33 clinics statewide, offering urgent care services and partnering directly with employers to provide occupational health solutions including drug testing, physicals, and workplace injury care. The company is expanding its employer partnerships and is seeking a Business Development Associate with 1–3 years of B2B sales or prospecting experience to help grow its footprint in the local business community. This is a field-based B2B sales role focused on developing relationships with employers and generating new business accounts. The role is for someone who already understands the fundamentals of sales—prospecting, pipeline management, follow-up, and closing—and is ready to continue building their career in a performance-driven environment. This role carries revenue responsibility and clear activity expectations.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, staffing, insurance, healthcare sales, or service-based sales
  • Experience with cold calling or outbound prospecting
  • Comfortable meeting with business decision-makers
  • Familiar with CRM systems and pipeline tracking
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Professional, confident, and polished communicator
  • Has early sales experience and wants more autonomy
  • Is motivated by growth and performance
  • Is ready to take ownership of a territory
  • Wants to build a long-term career in B2B sales

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new employer relationships within your assigned territory
  • Conduct outbound cold calls and in-person visits to local businesses
  • Schedule and lead meetings with HR leaders, operations managers, and business owners
  • Present occupational health services tailored to employer needs
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of new opportunities
  • Track activity, meetings, and follow-up in CRM
  • Attend networking events and represent the organization in the community
  • Close new accounts and contribute to territory growth
