About The Position

Bots Unlimited LLC is seeking a driven Business Development & Client Success Manager to lead new customer acquisition, manage long-term client relationships, and expand strategic accounts across robotics, UAS, IoT, industrial automation, and embedded-electronics markets. This role owns the full client lifecycle—from initial outreach, qualification, and SQ/RFQ generation through quoting, negotiation, post-sale support, reorders, and long-term scaling. You will work directly with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to ensure our NDAA-compliant modules and embedded hardware solutions meet real-world application needs, and you will help customers transition from prototype evaluation to volume production. This position will work directly with engineering, production, and supply-chain teams to understand custom requirements, support client projects, and ensure successful delivery. The BD/Client Success Manager will travel for client meetings, trade shows, industry events, supplier visits, and relationship building up to 50% of the time. We are looking for highly self-managed individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy building technical relationships in emerging hardware markets. Your work will directly impact revenue growth, client satisfaction, and long-term business visibility.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of sales, business development, account management, or client success experience in B2B hardware, electronics, embedded systems, or adjacent technical fields.
  • Strong familiarity with SQ/RFQ processes and ability to understand technical hardware specifications (embedded modules, sensors, connectivity components, motors).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, procurement teams, operations, and executive stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to close deals, drive new revenue, and manage long-term accounts or contract-manufacturing relationships.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills; comfortable managing multiple pipelines and accounts simultaneously.
  • Understanding of supply-chain concepts including lead-times, MOQ, volume scaling, and production scheduling.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales-tracking tools.
  • Self-driven, highly organized, and able to work cross-functionally with engineering, supply-chain, manufacturing, and customer success teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry familiarity with robotics, UAS, IoT, embedded systems, or automation hardware.
  • Understanding of NDAA compliance, secure-electronics requirements, or hardware sourcing regulations.
  • Experience supporting custom hardware builds, white-labeling, or engineering-driven product adaptations.
  • Ability to forecast demand, plan reorder cycles, and support volume transitions from prototype to production.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and qualify new business opportunities across robotics, UAS, IoT, industrial automation, and embedded-electronics markets.
  • Own the full sales cycle: lead generation, technical discovery, proposal development, SQ/RFQ quoting, negotiation, and closing.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to validate feasibility, cost, lead-times, and pricing accuracy.
  • Manage and expand a robust sales pipeline; deliver quarterly and annual growth targets.
  • Represent Bots Unlimited at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to communicate product capabilities and create new relationships.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for client onboarding, day-to-day communication, and long-term account development.
  • Oversee production orders, reorders, and recurring business; ensure coordination across supply-chain, manufacturing, and quality teams.
  • Support custom hardware needs including module modifications, white-labeling, or application-specific adaptation.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to monitor satisfaction, forecast reorders, and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Provide proactive client support, escalations, and follow-through to ensure reliable supply-chain execution and positive customer experience.
  • Willingness for frequent travel for client meetings, trade shows, industry events, supplier visits, and relationship-building activities as needed.
