Essential Functions: The Pipeline Commercial Analyst will provide critical business support to the commercial pipeline business development group. This position will report to the Director, Pipeline Business Development and have visibility to senior management across the PAA organization. The selected candidate will be eligible for company benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off (PTO) and Free Parking. Analyst duties include, but are not limited to: Detailed understanding of pipelines, connections and commercial agreements Develop relationships with existing and future customers Construct financial models and presentations for new business development opportunities to upper management Create maps in ArcGIS to illustrate new projects Work with operations and engineering to manage and track new pipeline connections to ensure timely execution of projects Learn how to navigate Enverus software to pull specific information related to production development, permits, drilling activity, type curves, and competitor information Leadership in identifying areas for improvements, shortfalls in volume forecasts or other financial or operational issues Understanding Pipeline flow and crude quality (operational) Participate in annual budget process and capacity utilization management Variance analysis and explanations Develop the tools necessary to develop into a business development representative Requirements: College Degree, preferably BBA Experience in business analysis with 0- 2 years work experience in pipeline industry preferred Must have strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills. Must have a strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and intellectual curiosity Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required Cleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checks Compliance with the Company’s drug and alcohol policy including pre-employment D&A testing.
