About The Position

Overview: The Business Development Manager will drive growth for our AI-Native Engineering practice by developing go-to-market strategies, building strategic partnerships, and influencing revenue and pipeline generation. This role requires strong collaboration across internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent messaging and impactful campaigns.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years in business development, GTM strategy, or related roles.
  • Familiarity with software engineering environments; experience leveraging AI tools in daily work.
  • Comfortable using AI tools; ability to position AI-native engineering solutions effectively.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to present to C-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multi-party engagements and maintain consistent messaging.
  • Travel up to 20-25% annually for partner and client engagements.
  • Flexible location within U.S. time zones.

Nice To Haves

  • No certifications required, but understanding of cloud ecosystems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • GTM Strategy & Market Development
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for AI-Native Engineering offerings.
  • Identify new market opportunities and position WWT as a leader in AI-native engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with marketing to design and deliver campaigns, events, and thought leadership content.
  • Partnership Engagement
  • Build and maintain relationships with hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP) and ISVs to drive co-sell motions.
  • Influence partner-led opportunities and ensure alignment with WWT's AI-native engineering strategy.
  • Stay connected to active deals to ensure appropriate technical and presales support is provided.
  • Internal Collaboration
  • Work closely with AI Advisors, Technical Solution Architects, and other business development roles across the organization.
  • Ensure messaging, visuals, and positioning are consistent across all teams and external engagements.
  • Performance & Impact
  • Influence revenue and pipeline growth for AI-native engineering solutions.
  • Track engagement metrics and provide insights to leadership on partnership and market development impact.
