About The Position

Head-huntress.com is partnering with a reputable energy-sector organization to identify an experienced Business Data Scientist III to support commercial systems, analytics, and regulatory-facing platforms in a highly regulated oil & gas environment.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in the oil & gas / energy industry
• Strong knowledge of scheduling and contracting processes (pre-flow, flow, post-flow)
• Advanced Excel and Power BI experience
• Hands-on experience with Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) systems
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Houston, TX

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance mission-critical commercial systems
• Act as a business liaison between Commercial, IT, Regulatory, and Operations teams
• Lead system initiatives from requirements through implementation and post-launch support
• Analyze historical and operational data to support commercial and market decisions
• Ensure Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) systems remain compliant with regulatory standards
• Develop dashboards and analytics using Excel and Power BI
