About The Position

The Business Data Analyst is responsible for converting enterprise data into actionable insights that support strategic, operational, and financial decision-making. This role partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to design, deliver, and maintain analytics, reporting, and performance measurement solutions across the organization. The Business Data Analyst also supports the organization by developing Scorecards KPIs Reporting structures The position plays a critical role in advancing data maturity by ensuring data quality, building a scalable reporting infrastructure, and enabling business users through clear visualization and insight delivery. Success in this role requires strong analytical capability, technical proficiency, business acumen, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL, database management, and data extraction.
• Experience with Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools.
• Proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft 365 productivity applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, BI development, or similar roles.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing or consumer goods industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data Management & Quality Collect, integrate, and maintain data from internal and external systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Establish and uphold data quality standards, validation controls, and governance practices.
• Develop and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries, KPI definitions, and metadata.
• Analytics & Insight Development Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, drivers, risks, and opportunities across sales, marketing, operations, and finance.
• Apply appropriate statistical and analytical techniques to evaluate business performance and initiative effectiveness.
• Translate business questions into analytical approaches and actionable insights.
• Data Architecture & Automation Support the design and evolution of a centralized reporting or data warehouse environment.
• Develop and maintain automated data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Partner with IT to optimize system integrations, data access, and performance.
• Reporting & Business Intelligence Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI and Excel.
• Build and optimize data models, calculations, and transformations to support scalable reporting.
• Present insights to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and business-focused manner.
• Develop and maintain scorecards, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
• Provide data and analysis to support meetings, quarterly planning, and annual strategy sessions.
• Translate organizational goals and objectives into measurable outcomes and reporting structures.
• Stakeholder Partnership & Enablement Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization Gather and document business requirements to identify process and performance improvement opportunities.
• Provide training and support to enhance data literacy, adoption, and effective use of reporting tools.
