As a Business Continuity Manager Sr. within PNC's Business Resiliency organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Strongsville, OH or Birmingham, OH. This position is primary based in a location within PNC's footprint. As a Business Continuity Manager Sr., you will develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness of Enterprise Event Management & Resiliency Plans and Procedures as part of the Business Resiliency organization, identifying lesson learned and areas of continuous improvement that support Enterprise resilience and readiness. As the Test, Training, and Exercise Leader, you will work closely across the Business Resilience and Enterprise Event Management teams, as well as Line of Business and Support Area stakeholders in the development of a comprehensive and mature test, training, and exercise program. Qualifications: - 12+ years of experience developing and leading test, training, and exercise programs in support of Business Resiliency, Continuity of Operations, Emergency Management activities. - Strong knowledge of test, training, and exercise industry best practices and Regulatory guidelines within the Financial Services sector. - Ability to work with subject matter experts and senior leadership to develop comprehensive training and exercises. - Prefer DRI certification or comparable public sector certifications, such as Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSSEP) or Federal Emergency management Agency (FEMA) Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) Certification. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position. Job Description Governs the business continuity function and lifecycle for a large business segment to ensure the organization proactively plans and effectively responds to potential crises.

Requirements

  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree.
  • Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years.
  • At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required.
  • Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and oversees the execution of the organizations crisis response.
  • Leads planning and testing strategy for a large business segment.
  • Oversees the execution of business recovery, crisis management, emergency management, contingency planning and disaster-preparedness planning.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert on business continuity issues.
  • Provides insight to the vision and direction for business continuity lifecycle planning, including the business impact analysis, risk assessment, recovery planning and recovery testing.
  • Ensures vision and direction are in alignment with Enterprise-Wide strategy.
  • Guides the organizations' business units through the development of their crisis management plans, ensuring they have complied with organization-wide strategies.
  • Creates an environment of consistent and effective crisis management that protects the business, builds relationships and develops awareness and accountability for crisis management.
  • Supervises the development and delivery of training on business continuity.
