About The Position

The Business Continuity Analyst partners closely with assigned Lines of Business, Technology teams, and Risk/Compliance/Audit stakeholders to support and strengthen the organization’s technology and business resiliency capabilities. This role plays a key part in ensuring resiliency plans are accurate, compliant with enterprise standards, and aligned with regulatory and operational expectations. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of resiliency and risk concepts, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is comfortable navigating evolving priorities while driving practical, effective solutions.

  • Ability to assess risk and apply practical, efficient solutions
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience partnering with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to think strategically
  • Comfortable working through ambiguity and evolving regulatory or operational requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically more than two years of applicable experience

  • Intermediate knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business
  • Intermediate understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
  • Basic knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
  • Strong analytical, process facilitation and project management skills
  • Effective presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Lines of Business and cross‑functional resiliency stakeholders to support technology and business resiliency planning efforts
  • Create, implement, maintain, review, and oversee resiliency documentation in alignment with enterprise standards
  • Support recovery strategy development, testing, and ongoing plan maintenance activities
  • Identify gaps, risks, or weaknesses in resiliency planning and recommend solutions to minimize operational and technology risk
  • Participate in projects and initiatives that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Review and maintain resiliency plans to ensure accuracy, completeness, and readiness
  • Support consolidation and simplification initiatives across resiliency programs
  • Serve as a liaison between the Lines of Business and Risk, Compliance, and Audit partners
  • Identify, respond to, and escalate resiliency‑related risks as appropriate
