Business Consultant – Intake Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 day per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Ideal candidates will be able to report to one of our Pulse Point locations in Indianapolis, IN, Mason, OH, Atlanta, GA or Norfolk, VA. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. The Business Consultant – Intake is responsible for capturing business requirements for new features, partnering with technical teams to analyze existing processes for iteration and improvement and managing projects across the Agile development life cycle. Also responsible for translating most highly complex and varied business needs into application software requirements. How You Will Make an Impact: Determines specific business application software requirements to address the most highly complex and varied business needs. Leads teams of analysts assigned to the most complex projects, typically those of highest importance and impact to the way in which we do business. Analyzes and designs solutions to address varied and highly complex business needs. Collaborates with business and technical teams to fully understand project scope and vision and translates that vision into actionable requirements. Provides expertise to lower-level consultants on the analysis of business needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs. Identifies and establishes scope of work through requirements analysis and establishes necessary features list. Works with stakeholders and technical teams to prioritize requirements and implementation strategy. Documents business cases through interviews, scenario evaluations and workshops to ensure all requirements are fully captured to produce accurate level of effort estimations. Researches and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes to develop strategies for enhancing future processes.
