About The Position

The Business Communications Analyst is an early career analytical role designed to provide direct exposure to enterprise strategy, performance measurement, and cross functional leadership. Working closely with the CIO, this role supports the Force Multiplier departments including IT, Data Insights, Food & Beverage, Hotel, Special Events, and Guest Experience. The position provides hands-on experience in tracking strategic initiatives, evaluating business performance, and preparing executive level insights that influence decision making. This role is ideal for a recent business graduate seeking accelerated development in analytics, operations, and strategy within a complex hospitality and gaming environment.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience supporting senior leadership in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting, including managing recurring reporting cadences, coordinating strategic reviews, and preparing consolidated executive summaries such as the President’s Report.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience documenting executive meetings, capturing key decisions and action items, and maintaining structured documentation and reporting processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to produce executive-ready materials.
  • Experience with SharePoint or comparable documentation platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment when handling confidential and executive-level information.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with IT, data analytics, or software development environments and the ability to interpret technical documentation while working with developers, solution architects, and technical teams is preferred.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, GitHub, ServiceNow, Tableau, or other business intelligence and project management tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and tracking of key performance indicators tied to guest engagement and business growth.
  • Assist in evaluating initiative progress and identifying measurable outcomes.
  • Prepare structured performance summaries that support executive prioritization.
  • Gain exposure to Strategic Financial Plan and Annual Financial Plan alignment across departments.
  • Help develop executive and board-level presentation materials.
  • Translate data into clear summaries that highlight trends and performance shifts.
  • Contribute to the monthly President’s Report and Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Participate in cross-departmental leadership meetings and document key insights.
  • Provide structured administrative support to the CIO, including calendar coordination and reporting cadence management.
  • Observe and analyze how technology, data, service operations, and guest experience interact to influence financial performance.
  • Support coordination across departments to ensure consistent reporting and milestone tracking.
  • Assist in identifying operational bottlenecks or reporting inconsistencies.
  • Compile and analyze data from multiple sources to support leadership review.
  • Track initiative milestones, risks, and performance indicators.
  • Support improvement of reporting consistency and dashboard adoption.
  • Draft and distribute communications related to system maintenance, outages, releases, and operational impacts.
  • Partner with IT, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure proactive, accurate stakeholder messaging.
  • Support documentation and communication efforts tied to ongoing operational improvements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Information Officer.
