About The Position

As a Business Care Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be working with GoDaddy's corporate level customers to develop successful business relationships between you and the customer. This will include providing account level management, product level management and technical support via telephone calls and email. Another primary focus will be on helping our corporate customers succeed in the domain industry by assessing customer business plans, brand protection concerns, and marketing strategies to help align GoDaddy product offerings to their needs. As an account manager, you will also gain experience with portfolio of business and hitting all metric and goals put in place.

Requirements

  • 2+ years sales experience
  • Proven understanding of the domain name industry
  • Strong technical and usability of GoDaddy products and services
  • Background in Sales, B2B, Portfolio Management and strong techniques to gain customer trust.
  • Ability to interact and communicate efficiently cross-functionally and within various levels of the organization.
  • Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, interpersonal and telephone skills, consulting, and dedication to customer happiness.

  • Business, Management, Operations, Marketing, or Computer Science experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective customer support to questions, issues, requests, related to leading a successful corporate domain program at scale
  • Provide insights and recommendations that cater to a corporate customer
  • Provide opportunity to these customers to learn about standard processes, trends, etc.
  • Using discretion and independent judgment, consults with customers to assess their needs, develop solutions, provide recommendations to help customers succeed, and implement the solutions developed.
  • Develop and implement strategies to help customers optimize their domain portfolio, including implementing calling campaigns and other methods of contacting customers.
  • Diagnoses and solves customer technical problems with varying complexity, using multiple tools and systems.
  • Receive, project manage, and implement individual or bulk requests for customers (Domain Updates, purchases)
  • Have a strong focus on growing the customer's level of support by paying attention to upsell opportunities for our Corporate Domains Team at GCD.
