About The Position

Imagine yourself at the forefront of strategic business transformation, shaping the direction of initiatives that fuel organizational success. As a Business Architect at Safety National, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing enterprise initiatives through the Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) process. You will collaborate with business owners, product managers, and solution architects to guide new ideas from concept to implementation, ensuring alignment with strategic themes and measurable outcomes. You will also create and maintain critical business architecture models like Value Streams and Business Capability Maps, and lead workshops that influence and inform key stakeholders across the organization. Your deep understanding of business architecture frameworks—including BIZBOK and SAFe—along with your facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills will empower you to identify opportunities for value and drive impactful change. Requirements

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Business Architecture principles and practices
  • Familiarity with BIZBOK and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Proficiency in creating business architecture artifacts and facilitating architecture workshops
  • Working knowledge of architecture tools such as LeanIX
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and technology assets against unauthorized disclosure, destruction and/or alteration, in accordance with Safety National policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry
