About The Position

Known for our iconic double-bubble bottle, we grow, harvest, package, and market fresh pomegranates, pomegranate arils, and a selection of delicious pomegranate-blended juices and teas. With over 9,000 acres in California’s Central Valley, POM Wonderful is committed to unleashing the antioxidant power of our handpicked pomegranates. The Business & Operations Systems Analyst – owns the design and execution of integrated data and systems solutions that enable effective sales, supply chain, and production decision-making. This role translates business strategy into scalable systems, analytics, and tools that align supply with demand, optimize inventory and production performance, and improve operational visibility. Compensation- $85,000 Salary - which may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.

Requirements

• Ability to integrate and automate data flows using APIs, webhooks, and system interfaces.
• Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript and SQL for data analysis and application development.
• Understanding of OEE, downtime tracking, speed loss, yield and scrap metrics.
• Advanced computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products
• Ability to create a problem-solving culture, focused on identifying/addressing root causes of performance shortfalls
• Experience with historians, MES systems, or SCADA platforms.
• Ability to translate technical data into business value.
• Cross-functional collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Two (2) or more years of experience in systems applications, data analytics or business operations analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintains systems to collect, process and analyze data from various external sources.
• Develop and manage scalable systems for data ingestion, processing, storage and reporting.
• Analyze operational, sales, and production data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and support internal web applications and data tools used by Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
• Leverage operational technology (OT) data to improve production visibility and performance tracking.
• Support data accuracy through validation, reconciliation, and calibration alignment.
• Partner with automation and controls teams on data architecture and governance.
• Create visualizations for operations review, daily management, and executive updates.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives with data-driven insights.
• Develop, implement and maintain full stack applications.
• Identify automation gaps and manual processes that can be digitized or eliminated through system enhancements.
• Develop scripts, workflows and system logic to eliminate recurring spreadsheet based and manual processes.
• Build scheduled and event-driven automation that triggers updates, alerts or reports.
• Assist with pilot programs for automation, AI and advanced analytics.
• Support fresh supply planning activities as needed.
