One of our clients in Washington, DC needs a Business and Financial Analyst Lead for a contract position.

Requirements

8+ years of relevant experience supporting federal government financial planning, POM/budget analysis, fully burdened cost development, and BI reporting.
6+ years of relevant experience with Tableau dashboard development from data warehouse or Excel data sources.
Ability to articulate and document technical approaches for our proposal (e.g., ETL pipelines, data quality controls, API management, and cost allocation methodologies).

Nice To Haves

Experience with Azure Synapse, PySpark, Python, and API data ingestion.

Responsibilities

Act as the sole support personnel and primary point of contact, handling all Project Management tasks (status reports, PM plans, regular client meetings).
Develop and maintain BI dashboards (Tableau / Power BI) for operational and financial insights (project scorecards, headcount, hourly rate estimates).
Prepare, clean, and integrate data from various federal sources (NFC HR data, Momentum/FMS) into databases and tabular models.
Establish API connections and automate data transfers between the AOC’s datamart, Decision Lens, and BI tools.
Develop, test, and deploy machine learning and analytic projects in Azure (Synapse, PySpark, Python).
Implement fully-loaded/fully-burdened indirect cost methods and support the development of annual spend plans and indirect cost estimates.
