About The Position

The SRILIAC Business Analyst role is responsible for overseeing and supporting operations at Swiss Re Insurance-Linked Investment Advisor Corporation (SRILIAC), the company's US-based investment manager. This position requires working closely with business partners, administrators, custodians, and internal teams to ensure accurate execution of all fund operations. Core duties include performing reconciliations, monitoring trades, supervising cash management, assisting with new fund launches, and managing databases. The analyst also plays a key role in maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, the SRILIAC Business Analyst focuses on enhancing business operations by introducing effective solutions, automating systems, and streamlining workflows. These initiatives ensure the platform remains scalable and cost-effective, supporting a fund management system that aligns with or exceeds institutional standards. The role is also tasked with keeping operational policies and procedures current.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with solid academic track record
• 1 - 2 years of capital markets industry experience with a background in Fund Middle Office or Fund Operations preferred
• Experience working in asset management, ILS, or investment banking
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Fluency in Python and SQL recommended
• Experience in analyzing and interpreting large data sets
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and multi-task
