About The Position

CGI has an immediate need for a Business Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies. We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years!. This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA or Plano, TX. A hybrid working model is acceptable. The Business Analyst supports product delivery and day-to-day operations by helping teams understand requirements, document processes, and ensure changes are delivered smoothly. This role works closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather information, support testing, and maintain clear documentation. You'll assist with data review, help track work items, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly to different audiences
  • Ability to create and maintain basic documentation such as user guides, FAQs, and release summaries
  • Foundational understanding of data concepts, with the ability to review reports and identify basic trends
  • Experience or exposure to Agile team environments (coursework, internships, or entry-level roles acceptable)
  • Familiarity with work tracking tools (e.g., JIRA or similar) for updating tasks and supporting sprint activities
  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and operations
  • Ability to assist in writing user stories and documenting requirements under guidance
  • Basic understanding of software testing concepts and willingness to support test execution and UAT activities
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new tools and processes
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities and work in a team-oriented environment
  • 0–2 years of experience in business analysis, product support, operations, or a related field
  • Relevant internships, academic projects, or certifications may be considered in place of formal experience
