About The Position

14468 – Business Analyst (hybrid) – Austin, TX Start Date : ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration : 12+ months with possible extensions Work Setting: Hybrid. Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mon & Tues) required to be onsite Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration. Required: Experience in requirements gathering and testing of web-based applications (7+ years); Experience in performing data analysis from databases using SQLs (5+ years); Experience in creating mock-ups for user interfaces (5+ years); Experience creating requirement traceability matrix (5+ years); Experience writing test cases and test scripts (5+ years); Experience in testing of batch jobs and web services. Preferred: Experience working on projects following Agile Development Methodologies (5+ years). Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs to define requirements that align with overall business strategies; Elicit, document, and manage business and technical requirements for migrating from legacy systems to new web ‑ based solutions; Perform data analysis using SQL, map data fields from source to target systems, and support data transformation activities; Document As ‑ Is and To ‑ Be business processes, conduct gap analyses, and identify opportunities for process reengineering or technology improvements; Create mock ‑ ups, functional specifications, requirement traceability matrices, and detailed descriptions of user needs and program functions; Develop and execute test cases and test scripts, validate data accuracy, support UAT, and test batch jobs and web services to ensure successful migration; Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitate workshops, manage expectations, communicate risks, and support Agile project activities.
