About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to help help bridge business needs and technical solutions across our software products. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product management, engineering, QA, and stakeholders to analyze business processes, define requirements, and ensure that delivered solutions align with organizational goals and user needs. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building high-quality software in a regulated, detail-driven environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience working as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role in a software development environment.
• Strong ability to analyze complex information and communicate it clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience writing requirements documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency with documentation and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or similar).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SaaS or enterprise software, ideally in tax, finance, or regulated industries.
• Familiarity with data analysis, SQL, or reporting tools.
• Understanding of software testing concepts and UAT processes.
• Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers and QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process reviews.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Collaborate with product managers and development teams to support roadmap planning and feature prioritization.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure shared understanding and alignment.
• Support Agile development processes, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements, efficiencies, and automation opportunities.
• Assist with UAT planning and execution, ensuring solutions meet defined requirements.
• Document system behavior, workflows, and business rules for internal and external use.
• Provide ongoing support by clarifying requirements and answering questions throughout the development lifecycle.
