About The Position

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Business Process Understanding & Improvement: • Learn and document current business processes across sales, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, and finance functions. • Identify inefficiencies or gaps in workflows and recommend practical improvements. • Assist senior analysts in process mapping and continuous improvement initiatives. • Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand operational challenges. Reporting & Data Analytics (Power BI Focus): • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI. • Partner with department leaders to understand reporting needs. • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability. • Support KPI development and reporting standardization. • Translate business questions into data-driven insights. Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Support: • Learn the company’s D365 environment and how it supports daily operations. • Assist in evaluating how D365 is currently used and identify opportunities to improve adoption and efficiency. • Support user training and documentation efforts. • Partner with IT and senior analysts on system enhancements or upgrades. • Help troubleshoot system or data-related issues. Collaboration & Learning: • Work under the mentorship of senior analysts. • Take initiative to learn business systems, data structures, and reporting tools. • Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives. • Maintain documentation of processes, reports, and system workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Interest in business systems and data analytics.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and take initiative.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Power BI (academic, internship, or professional).
  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar ERP systems.
  • Understanding of distribution, supply chain, manufacturing, or inventory-based businesses.
