About The Position

This role supports enterprise business applications and processes within financial operations, ensuring systems effectively meet business needs across tax-related functions. The position combines business analysis, system implementation support, and process improvement to enhance operational efficiency and drive technology-enabled solutions.

Requirements

  • 6 years of experience in Business Analysis within financial or accounting applications
  • 6 years of hands-on experience using Microsoft Office, Project, and Visio
  • 6 years of experience demonstrating strong and detailed analytical abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of business processes and policies, identifying opportunities for process improvements and supporting issue resolution to ensure timely transaction processing
  • Monitor software trends and provide recommendations for system upgrades or replacements to improve functionality and performance
  • Gather and document business and system requirements for new and existing applications
  • Participate in software evaluations and serve as a key contributor during system implementations, including fit/gap analysis and system configuration
  • Create and manage Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM) to ensure all requirements are validated and tested prior to go-live
  • Develop and execute test cases to support system validation and quality assurance efforts
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and project teams to ensure solutions align with business needs
  • Document Interface Control Documents (ICDs) to define system integrations and data exchanges
  • Support documentation of re-engineered business processes and define IT roles and responsibilities for ongoing system maintenance
  • Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities
  • Assist in developing project proposals, business cases, and performing cost-benefit analyses
  • Participate in required training and complete routine administrative tasks as needed
