Key Responsibilities • Perform accessibility testing on websites, web applications, and digital documents (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Evaluate compliance with ADA, Section 508, and WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level AA standards. • Use manual and automated testing tools, including assistive technologies (e.g., JAWS, ZoomText, NVDA). • Document findings and provide clear, actionable remediation guidance. • Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to resolve accessibility issues. • Assist with code-level remediation of accessibility defects when applicable. • Remediate and convert digital documents into accessible formats. • Promote accessibility best practices and support integration of accessibility into the software development lifecycle. • Maintain documentation and compliance reports. • Stay current with evolving accessibility laws, standards, and technologies. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). • Three (3) or more years of experience in digital accessibility testing and remediation. • Demonstrated experience working with WCAG 2.1/2.2 and Section 508 standards. • Experience testing with assistive technologies such as JAWS, ZoomText, or NVDA. • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript sufficient to support accessibility remediation efforts.
