About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and self-driven Business Analyst to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you will support project planning and execution by gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into effective technology solutions. You will play a key role in the analysis, design, and optimization of core business applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational needs.

Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will facilitate requirements of workshops, analyze business processes, and identify opportunities for workflow improvement and system enhancements. You will also contribute to backlog management, user story development, and testing coordination to ensure successful project delivery.

This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business process analysis, requirements management, and systems implementation, while driving continuous improvement across key business initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Management, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (candidates with a general business background and interest in technology are encouraged to apply).
• Basic understanding of business systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) and familiarity with project management concepts (e.g., requirements gathering, project lifecycle, Agile or Waterfall methodologies) is preferred but notrequired.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstratedinterest in how technology supports, enhances, andoptimizesbusiness processes.

Nice To Haves

• Background or exposure to the solar or renewable energy industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assistin the documentation, mapping, and analysis of current business processes toidentifyareas for improvement.
• Work closely with the business analysts and application owners to help implement enhancements and updates to core business applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, and other enterprise tools).
• Support user acceptance testing for new application features, upgrades, and integrations, ensuring they meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for new projects, workflows, or system changes, and help translate those needs into technical specifications.
• Monitor application performance and user feedback,helpingto troubleshoot issues, resolve support tickets, and recommend improvements.
• Assistin the evaluation of new applications, tools, or features that could streamline operations or improve overall business efficiency.
• Deliver a capstone project summarizing key insights, achievements, and recommendations for enhancing our business application ecosystem.
