Requirements

  • Relevant work experience in a professional environment including data acquisition, data integrity, business analytics, and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Proficiency in Excel including formulas, lookup functions, and pivot tables.
  • Basic understanding of relational database structures with at least 1 year of hands-on experience writing queries to extract and organize data.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to determine accuracy and relevance of information, and the ability to efficiently analyze data.
  • Self-starter with proven troubleshooting and issue resolution skills in data-related tasks.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively.
  • Ethics in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Exceptional time management including attendance.
  • Professional appearance and behavior.
  • Must be bondable.

Nice To Haves

  • Banking experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all applicable Bank policies, procedures, and limits of authorization.
  • Support data-related activities including data acquisition, data modeling, metrics definition, dashboard design, and the creation and distribution of various reports.
  • Gather, prioritize, and coordinate data requirements among business stakeholders.
  • Collect, validate, analyze, interpret and evaluate various types of internal and external data using multiple types of data sets and data discovery tools.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness by implementing data quality checks and validation processes to ensure trusted and reliable results.
  • Support the creation of detailed analytical reports in response to business user needs, simplifying complex data into clear insights, to support informed decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain job related reference documents and materials.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgement in the execution of all assigned duties.
  • Become knowledgeable and stay current with relevant government regulations and industry best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing education opportunities to maintain competencies and learn about industry trends and developments.
  • Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
