About The Position

The Business Analyst will be a key member of the Bearing Business Unit (BBU) Business Management team, providing comprehensive support to drive pricing strategy, customer quotations, and actionable business insights. This role blends cost and profitability analysis, ERP pricing management, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen decision-making and enhance operational efficiency across the organization. This position may lead or assist with the activities below, but is not limited to:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree. Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Data Analytics, or Business Analytics.
  • 2+ years solving analytical problems.
  • 2+ years working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with Excel capabilities (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
  • Experience with databases preferred; willingness and ability to learn systems such as Oracle.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and complete projects independently.
  • Proven ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on quality, efficiency and optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in pricing and quoting by analyzing product costs, developing competitive pricing strategies, and evaluating profitability.
  • Manage and maintain customer price lists and agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with business policies.
  • Resolve pricing issues within Oracle ERP and support timely price adjustments.
  • Facilitate mass price adjustment activities.
  • Provide analytical support through sales and profitability analysis by market, product, and customer.
  • Conduct price increase assessments, assist in contract reviews, and evaluate special pricing requests.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data to assess business conditions, trends, and patterns.
  • Transform data into clear summaries and visualizations to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Lead or assist special projects and reporting initiatives aligned with business priorities.
  • Evaluate standard business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.
  • Communicate findings and collaborate cross-functionally to recommend and implement effective solutions.
