About The Position

Freezing Point, LLC Business Analyst. Job site is located at 5202 W Douglas Corrigan Way, Salt Lake City, UT 84116. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Technical Writing or closely related field and 12 months of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, Systems Engineer or in an engineering related field. Special Skills: Experience with technology/platform SQL.

As a Business Analyst on the Technology team, you are responsible for keeping the dev pipeline full and work moving. You will quickly become a Fraznet expert and use your knowledge to analyse incoming work, outline business and development requirements, and perform system testing before creating needed documentation.

On our technology team, every minute matters. While certain tasks or actions may be routine, you will be faced with unique challenges and problems to solve every day. This includes receiving incoming requests, supporting incident resolution, project tracking, and relationship building.

This work is fast-paced, deadline-driven, and requires the ability to manage large amounts of detailed information.

Requirements

• The position requires a bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Technical Writing or closely related field and 12 months of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, Systems Engineer or in an engineering related field.

Responsibilities

• Engage as the first point of contact and Fraznet SME for internal stakeholders experiencing system issues.
• Identify and translate system requirements, issues, or suggestions into user stories for the development team.
• Establish criteria for software projects and communicate risk proactively.
• Ensure clear and timely communication among all stakeholders and involved parties.
• Communicate and review projects through the full development lifecycle including planning, execution, and testing.
• Create and maintain a user manual for Fraznet.
• Partner with the Director of Technology in prioritizing and managing the technology backlog.
• Support the execution of the annual NACS conference including system review and testing.
• Participate in daily standups and development team meetings.
• Gather and process feedback from end users as work is completed.
• Create technical documentation for projects and system changes.
• Other projects as assigned.
