About The Position
LingaTech is building a pipeline of experienced Business Analysts to support anticipated future needs with both Commonwealth and commercial clients in Central Pennsylvania. This posting is not tied to a current open requisition. Instead, we are proactively identifying and engaging Business Analyst talent for upcoming contract and contract-to-hire opportunities. Requirements
- Professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
- Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience using BA tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in IT-focused environments (software, data, cloud, ERP, etc.)
- Experience supporting public sector, government, or enterprise clients
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies
- CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or similar certifications
- Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps
Responsibilities
- Gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements
- Facilitating meetings and working sessions with stakeholders and technical teams
- Translating business needs into user stories, use cases, or specifications
- Supporting solution design, testing, and implementation activities
- Creating process flows, diagrams, and documentation
- Assisting with UAT planning, test case creation, and defect tracking
- Supporting change management, communication, and training efforts
- Collaborating closely with project managers, developers, QA, and business partners
