About The Position

As a Business Analyst, you’ll be a subject matter expert and program leader responsible for analyzing organizational needs, managing complex initiatives, and driving significant improvements across the enterprise. This role blends hands-on analytical and staff support functions with strategic leadership to enhance business processes, ensure compliance, and guide programs within a specialized domain. Operating with increasing autonomy, you will handle tasks ranging from assisting with policies and IT audit support to leading major process re-engineering projects. You'll utilize deep expertise to manage projects, advise leadership, mentor team members, and ensure the successful alignment of programs with strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with project management, process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, and leadership
  • Experience with specialized tools such as MS Visio, MS Project, or JIRA
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Management field and 7+ years of experience in IT, project management, GEOINT, or information assurance, or 10+ years of experience in IT, project management, GEOINT, or information assurance in lieu of a degree

  • Possession of excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills
  • PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, or ITIL Certification

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis to develop reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations for leadership.
  • Lead and manage projects and business process improvements, including planning, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
  • Support developing and aligning strategic guidance, policies, and performance assessments to organizational goals.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and oversight in areas such as IT strategy, cybersecurity, risk management, and continuity planning.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and mentor teams to drive initiatives, resolve issues, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
