The Business Analyst, Value is an entry level role in the Haleon commercial sales organization, in collaboration with the sales manager, you will have broad experiences across Sales, Insights, and Analytics. These experiences are the launching point of your career within the Haleon Commercial Organization. The Business Analyst is a hands-on role which enables the team by owning and contributing to distinct workstreams. The role will work directly with the customer and the team to contribute to attaining budget and growing share.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Prior work experiences which demonstrate growth, learning and accomplishment (including internships, summer jobs, others).
  • Proficient Iin Microsoft365 suite of products, demonstrated ability to learn new technology and data platforms.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to company meetings, customer meetings and industry conferences up to 35%.

Nice To Haves

  • Comprehensive knowledge of core business process principles, analytical methodologies, and the retail sector.
  • Experience in retail is a plus.
  • Experience with Nielsen or IRI, retailer systems or basic computer programming skills.
  • The ability to work in teams, manage conflict, collaborate, and embrace change.
  • A breadth of interest which helps inform understanding of the economy, shopper, retailers and competition.
  • An ability to synthesize multiple sources of information for greater understanding and influence.
  • Demonstrate a growth mind set and be motivated by attaining future goals and navigating complex challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Own critical sales processes including team reporting and tracking (via syndicated data and retailer POS), sales forecasting, joint business plan (JBP) scorecard, new item set up and tracking, and information management and distribution.
  • Complete regular analysis of customers and marketplace to identify risk and opportunity. Share findings with recommendation.
  • Participate in the preparation, planning and follow up of customer and internal meetings and presentations.
  • Use Technical expertise with reporting and analytics tools. Extensive use of Excel and Power BI, Microsoft 365.
