Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • 10 years overall experience plus 5 years of Scrum Master experience
  • Scrum Master Certification.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that translate well into requirements baselines that both technical experts and business owners can understand.
  • Ability to provide detailed, comprehensive, testable and traceable process components in a number of formats
  • Experience performing operational analysis of business processes and web-based applications

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate daily standups, Sprint reviews, Retrospectives and Iteration/sprint planning meetings
  • Guide the team from over-committing and scope creep.
  • Aid in estimation and sub task creation.
  • Work as the administrator of the scrum board.
  • Ensure that cards are up to date and the scrum tools like Jira are working well.
  • Meet individually with team members and stakeholders as needed.
  • Iron out team disagreements about process and work styles.
  • Guide the team by eliminating external blockers and managing internal roadblocks through process or workflow improvements.
  • Influence stakeholders to support business projects
  • Validate existing business processes and recommend improvements
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions and document the resulting requirements
  • Work with functional users to identify, prioritize and document requirements
  • Support requirements prioritization and backlog grooming sessions
  • Assist in customer/user meeting preparation, process planning and scheduling
  • Interact with customers to provide and process guidance in response to process reviews, inquiries, concerns, and requests
  • Assist in developing and presenting routine and ad hoc project management reports
  • Assist with the planning and management of document templates
  • Assist with the development of meetings agendas and the subsequent capture and distribution of meeting minutes and action items
  • Ensure all team guidance, work products, and related documents are updated and posted to a common document repository
  • Identify and assess process and operational inefficiencies, identify gaps, and develop recommendations on business process improvements and support the implementation and monitoring activities associated with these initiatives
