About The Position

Join high performing Global Banking team as a Regulatory Business Analyst role to manage and provide solutions to improve and optimize the working capital of financial institutions and corporate clients worldwide. This position is located at client site 4 days per week in Jersey City, NJ. The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for leading regulatory reporting projects including the transformation of the regulatory reporting system within a changing architecture environment. The end-to-end delivery includes project initiation activities, planning, governance and implementation. This role requires deep understanding of regulatory reporting systems and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in the capital markets financial industry (Bank/FBO/Broker Dealer).
  • Extensive experience with Adenza/Axiom Controller View (Nasdaq)
  • Understanding various industry solutions for preparing regulatory reports like automating SEC and FINRA regulatory reports.
  • Strong understanding of CCAR capital planning requirements.
  • Familiarity with stress testing methodologies and regulatory capital concepts (like CET1, Tier 1, leverage ratio, etc.).
  • Knowledge of transformation net capital calculations from DASH 360 to Axiom SL.
  • Experience with business analysis, data sourcing, business/ functional specification, and application testing
  • Expertise/Subject Matter Expert in financial products, accounting and regulatory reporting.
  • Good communication and management skills.
  • Able to work with stakeholders on different levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the mindset to find innovative and creative solutions
  • Able to work under tight deadlines

  • Good to have business industry certifications like CFA, FRM, etc

Responsibilities

  • Lead regulatory reporting projects
  • Partner with Finance, Treasury, Risk, and Model Development teams to ensure consistency in assumptions and methodologies.
  • Work on transformation strategy for a regulatory reporting system
  • Find innovative and creative solutions to support Finance, Liquidity, and Risk sponsors
  • Present technical design, architecture structure and new technologies opportunities
  • Propose dynamic and scalable solutions
  • Prepare road maps, plans and status reports
  • Worke with global teams
  • Manage diverse stakeholders
  • Ensure that the solution meets the requirements set out to cover the business line's needs.
  • Ensure solutions are delivered on time, mitigate risks and can be maintained with minimal maintenance
  • Understand and analyze the business line's needs with the aim of developing the appropriate and sustainable solutions that are consistent with the entity's strategic plan and the associated portfolio of requests.
  • Build partnerships with assigned development and stakeholder teams.
  • Write business requirements and specifications, perform workload and risk analysis.
