Business Analyst (Management and Budget)
About The Position
An incumbent in this position must be able to analyze data compiled from various sources, prepare narrative and financial information, and provide recommendations. Key responsibilities vary based on the primary area of assignment and may include but are not limited to: Budget development and monitoring of public sector budgets Financial forecasting, variance analysis, and cost benefit analysis for public programs Community redevelopment, ad-valorem / tax research, and policy analysis Grants monitoring, reporting, and compliance associated with disaster cost recovery
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Public Administration or Business Administration.
- Two years of professional experience to include assisting in developing, monitoring, or reviewing budgets or performing related fiscal or management analyses are required.
- A Master's degree may substitute for one year of the required experience.
