About The Position

For over 40 years, Yorktel has been the video managed services partner around the world for some of the largest business and government agencies. With over 10,000 video systems under management worldwide – more than any other video communications service provider – Yorktel has the proven expertise and global reach to deliver enterprise-quality visual communications. Yorktel is currently seeking a Business Analyst II that will assist our customer with a variety of projects by conducting research, analyzing data, creating reports, making recommendations, and presenting findings. The Business Analyst II skillsets may be more specifically defined at the call order level to include systems analysis, requirements analysis, research analysis, or general data analysis.

Requirements

  • Excellent documentation, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities
  • Experience analyzing complex data
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Experience in creating detailed reports and delivering multimedia presentations
  • Proficient in the latest version of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Required knowledge of SharePoint
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • 5 years of experience in business analysis
  • Requires extensive sitting, standing and walking
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license is a requirement and must have a positive driver’s abstract.
  • Must be willing to complete background checks and drug tests as required by current or future contracts
  • Must be willing to apply for security clearances, suitability, and other related clearances to be able to work at certain customer locations

Nice To Haves

  • Strong public speaking skills preferred
  • Current valid U.S. Passport is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct background research on assigned projects, such as online market research, public or internal surveys, and meeting with project stakeholders.
  • Develop methods for analyzing gathered information.
  • Compile project related data and create detailed reports.
  • Create business process documentation when necessary.
  • Make oral and visual multimedia presentations.
  • Assist with the evaluation of project business processes, anticipating requirements, and recommending and developing new solutions as needed.
  • Maintain a professional approach and demeanor, including interaction with project stakeholders, members of the public, customer executives, and other contacts.
