Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst to lead Third-Party Administration (TPA) initiatives related to business correspondence and the development, implementation, and optimization of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in support of life, annuity, and long-term care policies. This role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and consistent communication across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, process documentation, or communications.
  • Strong understanding of business process modeling and documentation standards.
  • Experience with life, annuity, and long-term care products and related correspondence and operating procedures required to administer the business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and close attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management and/or workflow software.
  • Experience with change management and stakeholder engagement

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with correspondence platforms (e.g., Smart Communications, DocuSign) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current business processes and correspondence workflows to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design, document, and maintain comprehensive SOPs across departments.
  • Serve as a liaison between business units, value stream teams, and client representatives to gather requirements and ensure correspondence solutions and SOPs meet business and regulatory needs.
  • Ensure all correspondence adheres to client guidelines and branding.
  • Develop and maintain templates and guidelines for internal and external communications.
  • Work with correspondence specialists and developers to design templates and logic for dynamic communications.
  • Maintain documentation for correspondence rules, triggers, and formatting standards.
  • Lead or support correspondence-related projects, including onboarding new clients, implementing regulatory changes, or system changes or upgrades.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to ensure adoption and understanding of SOPs and communication standards.
  • Monitor adherence to SOPs and recommend updates based on process changes, feedback, or regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and SOPs.
  • Support audits and quality assurance initiatives by providing documentation and process insights.
