About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Level 3) to support enterprise-level system modernization and application enhancement initiatives . This role requires strong collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams, along with deep experience in business analysis, data analysis, and process improvement within large, complex environments. Experience Level 8+ years of professional experience Works independently on complex assignments Uses experience and judgment to plan and execute tasks Demonstrates a high degree of creativity and decision-making latitude Minimum 5 years acting as a liaison between business users and IT teams (Architecture, Development, Application Support, etc.) Strong background in data analysis and requirements gathering Project management experience (PMP preferred) is a strong plus
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience analyzing business systems and user needs
- Proven experience with business process improvement and reengineering
- Strong ability to align technology solutions with business objectives
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years experience working in an Agile / SAFe environment
- Experience supporting large, complex enterprise systems
- Background in healthcare, public-sector, or regulated environments
- Project management experience or PMP certification
Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs
- Translate business requirements into functional and system requirements
- Ensure system solutions align with overall business strategies
- Perform business process analysis and reengineering
- Identify opportunities to apply technology to improve business efficiency
- Create business process maps, workflows, and supporting documentation
- Develop solution options, risk assessments, and financial analyses (cost/benefit, ROI, buy vs. build)
- Write detailed documentation outlining user needs, system functionality, and development steps
- Support project and product oversight for system modernization and enhancement efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business users, and external vendors
- Assist with creating, maintaining, and improving project processes and documentation
