Master’s in business, business management, business administration, accountancy, finance, marketing or business education; or Bachelor’s in any of the above; and Master’s in economics, personnel management, public administration, or Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) or Legum Baccalaureus (LL.B.)

Effective written and verbal communications skills in the classroom and with other professionals
Effective presentation and group facilitation skills
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with students, colleagues, staff, and administrators
Knowledge of and ability to integrate relevant computer technology into the classroom curriculum
Work experience and/or higher education teaching experience in business
Professional experience in the business field (accounting, finance, management, entrepreneurship, etc.) with at least two years in a supervisory/management position
Knowledge of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs), social media, etc.
Demonstrated interest and experience teaching in non-traditional instructional approaches and modes, including experiential learning, competency-based learning, project-based learning, online learning, multi-media systems, and hybrid delivery
Extensive experience building and maintaining community and/or industry partnerships
Experience in building new academic programs, including curriculum development that meets the changing needs of employers and the business world
Demonstrated commitment to quality teaching and professional development
Demonstrated ability to impart excitement, enthusiasm, and engender student success
Thorough understanding and use of current technology in the areas of small business management, entrepreneurship, marketing, operations, social media, and mobile technology
Ability to offer curriculum and instruction activities through distance education delivery modes as appropriate
Knowledge of the community college and its mission and goals
