Pay Grade 7: $30.597/hour This rate is based upon available budget funds; any offer will be made at this rate. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three years of experience related to the essential functions of the position.
  • Any equivalent education and/or work experience may be substituted in order to meet the minimum qualifications of the position.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Counseling related fields, and demonstrated success within a VR Program working with businesses and employers, establishing and maintaining partnerships.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities and developing and presenting trainings.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts meetings with local and regional employers to assist with identification of staffing skill requirements, support needs, and training preferences.
  • Establishes and fosters strategic partnerships among businesses, professional and trade associations, unions, and other business and industry partners to implement programs.
  • Enters data into and monitors the employer database.
  • Develops and implements training and development opportunities in areas such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 503 Federal Contractor Requirements.
  • Provides information and responds to inquiries related to employment opportunities that meet client goals and skills of job-ready clients.
  • Explores and develops marketing activities in collaboration with VR marketing staff.
