About The Position
JOB SUMMARY Provide friendly and efficient service to restaurant patrons to ensure a pleasurable dining experience. Responsible for prompt clearing, cleaning and re-setting of tables according to specifications. Assist the servers in the service of water, coffee and beverages. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May include, but is not limited to the following) Greet guests in a timely manner upon being seated Maintain side stations and cleanliness of restaurant Monitor guest needs for drink refills and condiment requests Assist with clearing tables and transporting dishes in addition to cleaning and stocking work areas and tables Refill beverages when ½ full Clear and re-set within 2 minutes of guest’s departure Rolling silverware and other side work Responsible for cleanliness of the restaurant by upholding the sanitation standards Exemplify our core values, family style service, our mission and vision Exemplify our DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) culture Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Experience using basic cleaning supplies (broom, dustpan, spray bottle and towel)
- Experience using and cleaning cocktail trays, bus carts, glass and silverware racks, coffee and iced tea makers, juice dispensers, soda dispensers, soda Bag-in-Box system, sharp knives, and lemon slicer
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests.
- Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English.
- Need excellent interpersonal skills.
- Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
