About The Position
1. Pick up and drop off students according to planned schedules. 2. Maintain student discipline at all times. 3. Report any misconduct of a student to the Supervisor of Transportation and/or the Principal. 4. Maintain a clean, safe environment by sweeping and/or moping the bus periodically. 5. Maintain the bus by reporting any malfunctions and or needed service or repairs to the Supervisor of Transportation or mechanic. 6. Refrain from the use of profanity tobacco while transporting students. 7. Pre-trip inspections before each run 8. Report all accidents, no matter how minor, to the Supervisor of Transportation 9. Help children develop safe habits while boarding and exiting buses 10. Perform a walk-through after completion of each route to ensure no child has remained on board. 11. Completes bi-annual bus evacuations
